generalThis is an excellent hotel offering a very high level of service, and it is suitable for all markets. It has a fabulous spa which includes a swimming pool, saunas, gym and massage treatment. 161007JG
lobbyThe lobby and public areas are very comfortable and spacious, and mainly decorated by using several kinds of marble. There is a large reception desk, and a seating area of a superb quality.
exteriorThis is a very modern building portraying the image of a five star property.
restaurantThere are several restaurants, including the hotel's world renowned Japanese restaurants which include the Michelin starred Yamazoto restaurant. This hotel also has an elegant rooftop restaurant "Le Ciel" which has recently also been given 1 Michelin star and has amazing views of the city of Amsterdam, and also a more casual tea shop.
roomsThe bedrooms are large and are all well decorated in modern style with a predominantly gold colour scheme. Many have excellent views over Amsterdam city and all are in very good condition. The bathrooms are also in very good condition. All bedrooms benefit from fax machine, internet access, isdn plug, and the renovated rooms have televisions in the bathrooms.
locationThis hotel is located in the centre of Amsterdam, in the trendy "Pijp" district, with its restaurants, bars, famous Albert Cuyp Market, Heineken Brewery and within walking distance of the Rai Congress Centre. It is also possible to walk to the Museumplein and Flower market although numerous trams can take you around Amsterdam and also to Central Station and Dam Square within 10 minutes.
