generalThis is a lovely hotel in a tranquil setting close to the heart of Amsterdam and comes highly recommended.
lobbyThe lobby is very welcoming and was also totally renovated in 2006. The colour scheme is, like the bedrooms, predominantly earthy and retains its elegance and style and feature fireplace. The bar is also located off the lobby and has been completely modernized as has the reception area.
exteriorThe exterior is a modern low-rise building with the main entrance on a residential street. The restaurant with its glass windows is the first sight upon approaching the hotel.
restaurantThere is an excellent restaurant renowned for its haute cuisine which is located on the ground floor and serves exquisite food with first class service. Dishes are International but with a French influence.
roomsAll bedrooms are decorated to a very high standard with a beige and earthy colour scheme, yet keeping the cosy atmosphere that penetrates the entire hotel. The bathrooms have also been renovated and both bedrooms and bathrooms are in very good condition.
locationJust minutes from the heart of Amsterdam, this hotel is located in one of the loveliest districts of the city which offers numerous bars and restaurants, boutique and designer shops, and is still within walking distance to the world-famous Rijksmuseum and Museumplein. It is also located close to the beautiful Vondel Park where you can rollerblade, go jogging, or just sit in one of the many cafes and watch the world go by.
