location
Located in the heart of Amsterdam on Damrak, this hotel is very close to Dam Square and within walking distance of Central Station as well as the Kalverstraat and most major tourist attractions.
rooms
The bedrooms all vary in size due to the age of the building but they have all been renovated and are now in very good condition. The colour scheme is predominantly black with a shot of colour via the beautiful Amsterdam print above the bedrooms and the rooms also benefit from LCD televisions and high speed internet. The bathrooms are also in good condition, and have all been renovated and are very modern with dark wooden flooring, with silver and pristine white finishing on the walls and in the showers.
restaurant
Located on the ground floor, the restaurant overlooks the busy street where one can watch the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam. It serves a traditional Dutch menu and is traditional in style. There is also a brasserie which serves light snacks all day
exterior
The hotel is located above its famous pavement cafe on a busy street. The exterior is a 1900 building.
lobby
The lobby is actually very small as the majority of the ground floor space is taken up by the cafe.
general
This hotel is excellently located and has benefited from its much needed renovation to become a hotel worthy of its first rate classification. Ideal for all markets. 290807jg
